The quality of the leather is very nice and even with minimal blemishes, which is a big plus. However, the colour is completely different from what I thought I was ordering. I chose the Cognac/Whiskey colour, which the seller confirmed were two names for the same colour, but the item I received was MUCH darker with a more reddish tone than either the example desk mat, or leather swatch sample shown in the product photos suggested. I spoke to the seller and they told me that their helper had applied a wax coat to the leather which would fade over time; thus revealing a lighter colour. However, I think that the photos should be updated to show more accurately the colour one should expect to actually receive. Delivery took just over 5 weeks, a lot longer than the expected 1.5 -2.5 weeks stated. But given origin, not too surprising.
